Tobacco-Free for a Healthy NJ (TFHNJ) is teaming up with teens across the state through Youth Tobacco Action Groups—local teams for ages 13–18 working to stop youth smoking and vaping. Every county has a group, and they’re making a difference by leading prevention efforts and helping peers stay tobacco-free.
The New Jersey Quitline
The NJ Quitline is a free, 24/7 phone service for people ready to quit smoking. Experienced Quit Coaches offer non-judgmental support and help create personalized quit plans, including tips for managing cravings and preventing relapse.

Thinking About Quitting? Free Help Is Available
If you're 13 or older and want to quit smoking or vaping, you don’t have to do it alone. With support from the NJ Department of Health, you can connect with one of 11 Quit Centers across the state. They offer free counseling, resources, and even nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) to help you get started.
Note: If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must give permission to enroll.
