No Menthol Sunday- May 15, 2022
No Menthol Sunday is an annual faith-based day of observance sponsored by the Center for Black Health and Equity and is held for faith communities to educate on the negative health effects menthol tobacco products have had on community health and to advocate for policy change that will advance health equity. This year's theme is Bold Awareness: A Fight to the Finish. After a decades-long fight for health justice, the FDA is poised to issue standard regulations in 2022 that will prohibit the sale of tobacco products with any characterizing flavor like menthol. It’s time to finish this fight. To find out how you or your faith-based community or organization can get involved please use the link below to access the No Menthol Sunday toolkit.
