Tobacco-Free for a Healthy NJ is a comprehensive tobacco prevention and cessation program funded by the NJ Department of Health, Office of Tobacco Control and Prevention, which works to reduce tobacco use and the negative impact of secondhand smoke in all counties of New Jersey.

Incorruptible.Us
On Saturday March 25th, 2023, over 240 participants attended our annual Incorruptible.Us Statewide Summit at iPlay America in Freehold, New Jersey. Youth sported their March Madness-themed shirts representing their region and had a day full of inspiration and fun. DeMarco Fomby joined them for some motivation and music. Atlantic county Youth Coordinator Carlo Favretto, Incorruptible.Us members, and Incorruptible U members spoke about the evolution of tobacco prevention campaigns in New Jersey. Our partners the Public Good Projects & Social Media Influencers conducted a panel to discuss social media content creation – full of tips and tricks for how to include positive messaging – and worked with our youth to create some content. It was a great day complete with Burlington County taking home the Tobacco Free Champions trophy and fun in the park at iPlay America!
Our partners at Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids attended our Incorruptible.Us Youth Summit to help us #TakeDownTobacco! We set up a table where youth could play the Joker Takedown game, learn why taking down tobacco is important, and where they could take action to encourage their peers and other adults to stand up to Big Tobacco. Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids also assisted with getting a Proclamation issued by State Senator Vin Gopal of New Jersey, and Senator Cory Booker to recognize the amazing work that our youth do in their communities.
